Welcome to Stakeet, a social prediction market platform operated by BetCraftor Inc. (“Stakeet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering an account and using our services, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Stakeet is a peer-to-peer (P2P) social prediction market where users take positions on the outcomes of real-world events across categories such as sports, entertainment, politics, technology, finance, and culture.
Each prediction contract presents a question with multiple possible outcomes. Users select the outcome they believe is most likely and stake their position accordingly. Stakeet facilitates the matching of opposing positions between users but does not act as a counterparty, bookmaker, or house.
Stakeet is not a betting, gambling, or wagering platform and is not licensed as such. Stakeet operates as a social prediction and forecasting marketplace where users express their views on future events.
When you join a prediction contract, you select one of the available outcome options and commit your stake. Your position is matched against users who have selected a different outcome. Because this is a peer-to-peer market, there must be sufficient participation on opposing sides for your position to be filled.
It is possible that your position may not be fully filled if there is insufficient participation on the opposing side. Stakeet offers two fill modes, which are displayed on each contract before you join:
In Max Fill mode, your wager is matched as quickly and fully as possible from opposing participants and the liquidity pool. This mode prioritises speed and fill completeness.
Max Fill is suitable for users who want the highest possible fill rate and are comfortable accepting full downside risk on their wager.
In Protected Fill mode, you only risk the portion of your wager that is actually matched by opposing participants. The unmatched portion of your wager is protected and automatically refunded if your prediction is incorrect.
Protected Fill is suitable for users who want downside protection and prefer to risk only what is actively matched by other participants.
Every contract on Stakeet clearly displays its fill mode before you join. The fill mode is set by the contract creator and cannot be changed after the contract is published. You should review the fill mode before committing your stake, as it affects your risk profile if your prediction is incorrect.
To improve matching speed and efficiency, Stakeet may use a liquidity pool to partially fill positions when there is insufficient opposing participation. The liquidity pool participates under the same contract rules as all other users. Contracts that are supported by the liquidity pool will be clearly marked on the platform.
Odds on Stakeet are derived from the probability assigned to each outcome. These probabilities are not fixed — they change over time as new information becomes available and as market participation shifts. The odds reflect the current collective sentiment of participants at any given moment.
Once you join a contract, your personal odds are locked at the time of entry and will not change regardless of subsequent market movements.
Each contract has a “Last Date” after which no new participants may join. This date is set before the event outcome becomes known to ensure fairness. Once the Last Date passes, the contract is closed to new entries and awaits settlement.
Once an event outcome is publicly verifiable, Stakeet determines the winning result and processes settlement. Settlement typically occurs within24 hours of the event date but may take longer depending on verification requirements or the complexity of the event.
Users who selected the correct outcome receive their winnings based on the locked odds at the time they entered the contract. Winnings are deposited into your Stakeet wallet and are available for withdrawal. Winner payouts are the same regardless of whether the contract uses Max Fill or Protected Fill.
How remaining funds are handled for losing participants depends on the contract’s fill mode:
Once you join a contract, your position is final and cannot be reversed, cancelled, or transferred. All settlements processed by Stakeet are final.
To ensure that certain contracts have sufficient participation on all sides, Stakeet may engage liquidity providers who fill positions up to a specified amount. Contracts that are supported by liquidity providers will be clearly marked on the platform so that users are aware before joining.
Liquidity providers participate under the same contract rules as all other users. Their presence does not alter the odds, settlement process, or payout mechanics for other participants.
Stakeet offers certain prediction contracts that are free to join. Users may choose to either stake real funds or join for free on eligible contracts. Free participation allows users to engage with prediction markets without financial commitment.
When you join a free contract, points are awarded or deducted based on the outcome of your prediction:
These values are subject to change at any time based on platform rules, promotions, or market conditions.
Points accumulated through free contracts may be converted into real money once they reach the minimum conversion threshold set by Stakeet. Conversion rates may vary by country and are subject to change.
For users in Nigeria, the current conversion rate is 1 point = ₦1.00.
Users are welcome to create their own prediction contracts on the platform. All user-created contracts are subject to review and validation by our system before they become available to other users. Contracts that do not meet our standards for clarity, verifiability, or appropriateness may be rejected.
Users whose contracts are approved and attract participation will be rewarded with a percentage of the winning pool generated by their contract. The exact percentage is determined by Stakeet and may vary.
When creating a contract, users may select the fill mode (Max Fill or Protected Fill) for their contract. The selected fill mode applies to all participants and cannot be changed after publication.
Stakeet offers weekly jackpot competitions where users answer a set of prediction questions (typically 10) related to upcoming real-world events. The user or users who answer the most questions correctly win from a predetermined prize pool.
If more than one user achieves the highest score, the prize pool is distributed among all winners. However, users who join the jackpot earlier in the week may receive a larger share than those who join later. This is because event outcomes may become more predictable as the event approaches, and Stakeet rewards users who commit their predictions earlier when uncertainty is higher.
Stakeet also offers non-event weekly jackpots based on knowledge categories such as Science, Accounting & Finance, Bible Studies, and Islamic Studies. In these competitions, each user receives a randomly selected set of 10 questions drawn from a larger pool of 50. This means different users may receive different question sets, ensuring fairness and reducing the ability to share answers.
These competitions are timed, and users must complete their answers within the allotted time. Jackpot entry may require a participation fee, which contributes to the prize pool.
Prize pool amounts and scoring thresholds required to qualify as a winner are determined by Stakeet and disclosed before the competition begins. Stakeet reserves the right to determine final rankings, scoring formulas, and payout distributions.
All winnings, rewards, and converted points are deposited into your Stakeet wallet. You may withdraw funds from your wallet at any time, subject to minimum withdrawal amounts and any applicable processing times or fees. Withdrawal methods and availability may vary by region.
